E&J’s secret to fresh flavor? The perfect mix of California grapes. The state’s mediterranean climate produces the nation’s most diverse mix, giving us the pick of the crop. We select the top grade grapes at ideal ripeness for superior brandy.

You can’t have premium brandy without fine wine. Our fermentation process produces a quality wine that becomes the base of E&J.
The beat of our
OWN BARREL
We distill each vintage year of brandy within 3 months of fermentation to capture the freshest flavor and aroma. Each of our 275K barrels are unique, from the age and oakiness down to the drips in the wood, making it one of the most complex parts of distillation.
